Robert Alexander, grew up on the West Side of Los Angeles. He first picked up a camera as a hobby to shoot most of the local bands along with legendary skateboarding friends throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Shortly after, Robert began working in the Art Department for several Music Videos.
During that time he was discovered by a few upcoming fashion designers and was asked to shoot for several clothing lines such as; Paris Blues and Pornstar clothing. Photography grabbed a hold of him and he has shot professionally since the early Nineties.
In 1998 Robert began to shoot some of the most legendary bands of our times: Metallica, Kid Rock, Eminem, Limp Bizkit, Blink 182, to name a few. He then shot images for "The Solution to Benefit Heal the Bay" and Goldfingers "Darren's coconut ass" albums. Robert was asked to go on one of the largest Skateboarding/ Punk Rock tours in the country, the warped tour in 1999.

Roberts career then took him to Vail, Colorado to pursue portrait and action sport photography. His photography was published in the local papers, and as promotional shots for the mountain.

Robert Alexander now resides back in Los Angeles and continues to shoot head shots, fashion, bands, action sports photography and artistic images.
